I love dancing, writing, travel, and spending time with my 2 children.
Here's a cute picture of me circa mid 1980s when I was in middle school. I was about the age of the students that I now teach. This is when I fell in love with being a teacher myself. I was a volunteer mentor in the kindergarten classroom of the small private school that I attended.

ReplyDeleteIt’s wonderful to meet you! Your intro is so warm and full of passion—I love how your love for teaching started so early, even back in middle school. That picture must hold so many special memories, especially knowing it sparked your journey into education.
As a fellow teacher and language lover, I admire your pursuit of a Master’s in TESOL—that’s such important work, especially in middle school when students are navigating so much change and growth.
Also, former ballerina and coffee lover? That’s such a great combo—discipline and energy! I’m sure your students are lucky to have such a caring and dynamic teacher guiding them.
